  • Ensuring compliance with all legal requirements and conformance with standards that the company holds (AS/NZS4801, ISO45001, ISO14001), as well as aiming to meet other standards HDL is seeking certification in (ISO9001, and ISO45003). 

  • Meet or exceed all applicable government requirements and voluntary requirements that are subscribed to, pushing for continual improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS).

  • Set and maintain a consistent level of standards, no matter where in the country the company operates.

  • Engage and consult with the concerned parties on health, safety, quality, and environmental issues and methods to ensure knowledge, assessment and monitoring of workplace risks

  • Ensuring accurate reporting and recording of incidents and hazards, and informing affected parties as appropriate.

  • Determining and monitoring measurable health & safety, quality, and environmental objectives and targets, and appointing specific safety personnel to be responsible for implementing and maintaining an IMS.

  • Provide a safe workplace by establishing and insisting upon safe methods and practices, ensuring all employees and contractors understand and accept their responsibility for a safe and healthy workplace.

  • Eliminate hazards where possible and reduce health, safety, quality, and environmental risks to ensure safe and healthy working conditions, preventing work-related injuries and illnesses.

  • Deliver mandates and business commitments through safe, healthy, quality, and environmentally-conscious processes, prioritizing the safety of customers, employees, and visitors by minimizing risks and hazards.

  • Employ operational processes that do not harm the environment. Develop and improve technologies to minimize waste, prevent pollution, and ensure safe and responsible waste disposal
