Auckland Special Children’s Christmas Party
Henderson Demolition Ltd is excited to sponsor the Special Children’s Christmas Parties, a magical event that brings joy to nearly 10,000 Kiwi kids each year. These children, facing special needs, health challenges, or difficult life circumstances, are treated to an unforgettable day of fun and excitement.
We believe in the power of giving back, and this event allows these children to escape their daily struggles and simply enjoy being kids. It’s an honour to support an initiative that brings so much happiness and makes a lasting impact on their lives.

Regenerative Planting Sessions
Since 2022, Henderson Demolition Ltd has actively supported regenerative planting efforts across the Auckland region. While we haven’t contributed financially, our employees have volunteered their time over 40 times during winter planting sessions. Partnering with Auckland Council, Conservation Volunteers New Zealand, and local community groups, we’ve helped restore and protect native ecosystems from Tāpapakanga Regional Park at Orere Point to as far north as Tāwharanui Regional Park. It’s estimated the team have planted over 40,000 trees cumulatively.
These efforts reflect our commitment to environmental sustainability and community engagement. By dedicating our time and energy to these projects, we’re proud to contribute to the regeneration of Auckland’s natural spaces, ensuring they thrive for generations to come.
New Zealand Police Manager’s Guild Trust
Henderson Demolition Ltd has been a supporter of the Police Managers' Guild Trust since 2019. Established in 1997, this charitable trust plays a vital role in building safer communities across New Zealand by providing practical, easily accessible crime prevention resources.
Through its digital platforms, social media, and strategic partnerships, the Trust educates the public on important issues such as crime prevention, child safety, substance abuse, and domestic violence. Each week, over 3,000 Kiwis benefit from these educational tools, made possible by the generous contributions of businesses like ours.
We are honoured to contribute to the Trust’s mission of helping New Zealanders protect themselves, their families, and their businesses.
Henderson Demolition is proud to support the Ara Education Charitable Trust's House Renovation Project, donating houses for South Auckland high school students to rebuild. Instead of demolishing the homes, they are relocated to a Māngere site, where students work one day a week restoring them under expert guidance.
This hands-on experience equips students with valuable construction skills, from plumbing to framing, while addressing real housing needs. Once completed, the houses are sold, with proceeds funding future relocations and supporting the ongoing programme.
This project not only provides career pathways for youth but also promotes sustainability by reusing materials and giving these homes a second life. We’re thrilled to contribute to this effort, helping young people gain practical skills and make a positive impact in the community.
Ara Education Charitable Trust
Henderson Demolition Ltd was delighted to donate funds to help the Papakura Tennis & Squash Club in their efforts to secure local and Auckland Council funding to resurface their tennis courts. With Ash, our Junior Estimator and club captain, leading the way, we were pleased to support a cause so close to her heart.
The Papakura Tennis & Squash Club has been a cornerstone of the community for over 90 years, welcoming players of all skill levels—from juniors to veterans. With five tennis courts, four squash courts, and a friendly, inclusive atmosphere, the club offers a great space for sports enthusiasts to connect and enjoy their passion.

Since 2007, our HSQE Manager, Alex, has been a passionate supporter of Movember, an organisation taking on the biggest health issues affecting men: mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. As a result, men are living healthier, longer lives. Through creative and inventive strategies, he has engaged supporters in unique ways, such as using donations to vote on moustache styles, dyeing his moustache in rainbow colours, and painting and selling "Mo" artworks. Alex has also completed daily CrossFit sessions throughout the month and even undertook a 168-hour famine inspired by the World Vision 40-hour famine.
His dedication has earned him entry into the Hall of Fame Silver Section, reflecting years of commitment to the cause. Not only has Alex raised significant funds, but he has also inspired friends and family to join him in supporting Movember, making a lasting impact on the mission for men’s health.

Henderson Demolition Ltd actively supported efforts to raise funds for the son of our Transport Manager and his handball club to attend the 2023 World Championship in Croatia. This was a remarkable opportunity for these young athletes to showcase their skills on an international stage and represent New Zealand with pride.
The costs associated with participating in the tournament—travel, accommodation, and training—were significant, and they were reaching out to the community for support. Through contributions, we were able to help make this incredible journey a reality for these talented players, fostering the spirit of sportsmanship and national representation.
